I am working with a fantastic client who is expanding and looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their team. As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of designing electrical systems for major construction sites and industrial premises, ensuring every project is coordinated and meets the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead electrical design on major projects, ensuring integration with other disciplines
* Demonstrate experience in delivering projects from inception to completion
* Take ownership of the design process, ensuring sustainability and energy efficiency are at the forefront
* Work closely with clients and colleagues to ensure designs meet commercial, regulatory, and technical requirements
* Provide expertise during site inspections and surveys
* Coordinate and liaise with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the overall success of the projects
What We're Looking For:
* 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering, specifically within Building Services
* Proven project experience with integrated design solutions
* Competence in Amtech and other preferred Lighting Design Software
* A solid understanding of UK Building Regulations, Health & Safety legislation, and British Standards
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet tight deadlines
* A genuine passion for sustainable design and low-energy buildings
