Sustainability Consultant

About the Role
We are seeking a Sustainability Consultant to:
Lead and support BREEAM assessments across UK projects, with opportunities to expand into broader sustainability services such as Sustainability Statements, Embodied Carbon Strategies, Whole Life Carbon Assessments, Circular Economy Statements, and Net Zero Carbon Strategies.
Collaborate with design teams on high-profile, innovative developments.
Prepare detailed, high-quality reports for clients.
Manage key client accounts, fostering strong, long-term relationships.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
A minimum of 1 years' experience in the built environment sector.
A relevant degree in sustainability or a related field.
Experience in project management, including fee proposals, budget planning, meeting deadlines, and leading client meetings.
A BREEAM New Construction Assessor license.
Knowledge of the UK planning system and sustainability-related legislation.
Desirable Qualifications
BREEAM Advisory Professional.
Experience with One Click LCA or similar software.
MSc in a building/sustainability-related field.
Experience advising on net-zero buildings.
Additional BREEAM qualifications (e.g., BREEAM In-Use, Refurbishment & Fit-Out, or Home Quality Mark Assessor).
