Role: Senior Landscape Architect

Location: On-site, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Reporting to: Project & Design Manager

Requirements:

• 12+ years of experience in landscape architecture or a related field/discipline.
• Experience in large-scale multi-disciplinary projects, preferably urban regeneration and transit-oriented developments (TODs), contributing landscape and public realm design inputs towards pre-concept, concept and detailed master plan.
• Expertise in all aspects of concept, schematic and detailed landscape design, at varying scales and degrees of complexity, including specification writing and contribution to design guidelines.
• Strong working knowledge of best practices related to landscape architecture and public real design aimed at promoting place making and creating walkable and cyclable urban spaces and places that are feasible and suited for the KSA context.
• Advanced and strong creative thinking, presentation, written and graphic communication and collaborative working skills.
• Demonstrable working knowledge of applicable software/codes/regulations/guidelines.
• Proficiency in the use of the following applications at least:
  • Adobe Creative Suite,
  • Rhino,
  • AutoCAD,
  • Microsoft Office,
  • ArcGIS.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Landscape architecture
• Postgraduate degree in Landscape Architecture preferred (Masters)
• The candidate must be a member of the Saudi Council of Engineers.
• Relevant Professional Certification or Membership preferred (eg. CMLI/ASLA/AILA)
• Certification in LEED/BREEAM/other relevant sustainability rating system.
