We are looking to recruit a Water Specialist to join our Construction Water team, to help to deliver this Multi-Million infrastructure programme. The role of Water Specialist is primarily a technical role that will have a focus on supporting the collection and reporting of water data to ensure consent compliance. As well as to assist in trouble shooting with day-to-day challenges associated with the management of water in the construction process. The Water Specialist role will help co-ordinate the collection, management and interpretation of groundwater and surface water data, as part of the consent monitoring programme, undertaken at various construction assets. This includes assessment of groundwater levels to discern potential impacts caused by the construction works on hydrogeological regimes. And assessment of water quality data, to determine impacts on groundwater or watercourses and the associated risks to the water environment. Where changes in monitoring data trends are identified indicating a breach of the consent, the Water Specialist will work to determine the root cause, alongside the internal Environment and Delivery Teams to resolve. Trouble shooting of water quality issues associated with the management of water as part of construction also forms part of the Water Specialist's duties. As well as data management and manipulation. The candidate will ideally therefore have experience of excel, holebase, GIS systems and requires excellent communication skills. The Water Specialist role will also include reporting of data collected and communicating the results to all stakeholders. And assist with the organisation and sharing of data between associated parties.
