We're working with a long-standing and respected consultancy in the Building Services sector, known for delivering high-quality Mechanical, Electrical, Refrigeration, and specialist systems design across a wide range of sectors-including commercial, industrial, retail, and large-scale automated warehousing.

As the business continues to grow, they're now seeking an Intermediate Mechanical Design Engineer to join their collaborative team in London. This is an exciting opportunity for a mechanical engineer looking to build on their current experience and take the next step in their career within a dynamic and supportive environment.

Role Overview:
You'll be responsible for supporting the delivery of mechanical design solutions across diverse building services projects. Working closely with Senior Engineers and project teams, you'll contribute to the full lifecycle of projects-from concept design through to site coordination and completion-gaining exposure to high-value, technically complex work across sectors.

Key Requirements:
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in Mechanical Building Services design
* Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering
* Sound knowledge of HVAC, heating, ventilation, and plant room design
* Ability to produce mechanical designs and specifications for various building types
* Familiarity with integrated design and coordination with other MEP disciplines
* Awareness of sustainability and energy-efficient design principles
* Understanding of UK Building Regulations and British Standards
* Competent with AutoCAD and recognised building services design software (e.g. Hevacomp, Revit MEP, IES, etc.)
* Strong organisational skills and ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
* Keen interest in developing technical expertise and progressing within the industry
