Operations Manager - Retrofit Consultancy

*Experience in Retrofit is not essenital but you must have experience working in a regulated sector.

Mission of the role
To lead, and mentor the team to deliver the best-in-class end to end retrofit service in the industry for our clients, ensuring 100% compliance to PAS 2030 standards.


Key tasks include
 Liaise with key stakeholders on their requirements and explain feasibility of their schemes to become a trusted advisor.
 Effectively manage the retrofit team and other sub-contractors in order for an effective and efficient project delivery.
 Work with clients, principle contractors, installers and sub-contractors to define and document scope(s) of work(s).
 Develop and understand the full scope of works in line with the desired project business case and in turn outcome. This is to be within agreed budget requirements and required profit margins.
 Manage, run and draw up tenders on behalf of the company and clients as required. Carry out full tender analysis of all costs and returns.
 Identify, reduce and manage all statutory and commercial risks associated with projects.
 Design and develop pre, mid and post project phase delivery programmes.
 Monitoring and reporting progress, identifying issues, opportunities or non-conformities throughout the projects and developing and implementing or suggesting improvements or corrective actions.
 Build and manage a pipeline of supply partners with the correct skills and accreditations to ensure full end to end delivery of any risk pathway type retrofit project.
 Identify and develop a short/medium and long term pipeline of project opportunities from the portfolio of customers with the head of sales.

Management Responsibilities
 The scope of responsibility for this person includes implementing policies and establishing and adhering to budgets, schedules, work plans, SLA's and performance requirements
 Sets revenue targets and ensures targets are met
 Recruit, onboard, train and manage a team of highly motivated and successful retrofit professionals through best practices
 Direct, prepare and execute a retrofit strategy, aligned to business strategy
 Reporting on retrofit activity and forecasts to SMT
 Effective line management of the Retrofit Team, providing development and structure, managing through people policies and procedures, coaching and mentoring to support their career development

Do you have…:
 5 years' experience in a regulated sector
 Experience in managing and leading a team in order to deliver various projects on time whilst maintaining 100% compliance to standards
 A degree of equivalent qualification in engineering, architecture, energy management or a related discipline
 Strong project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget
 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
 A good understanding of building regulations and energy efficiency standards
 Proficiency in relevant software for project management and energy modelling
